The Viking Berg hat has an internal fleece strip to minimize irritation to the scalp, which is sensitive to wool. It also uses the ultra-light GORE-TEX Infinium membrane with Windstopper, the microporous structure of which stops the wind, while allowing water vapor to easily escape to the outside.
