Take what’s good and make it even better. That was what we were aiming for when we updated the successful Catapult series. To make sure the modified rods took best advantage of their predecessors’classic strengths, in particular when it comes to casting performance, we decided on a blank made of Japanese high-performance carbon, with a semi-parabolic action. Thanks to the combination of high-quality SIC guides, robust FUJI DPS reel seats, and solid split handle handles, the Catapult Carp CS-4 models have outstandingly good casting and loading properties. And, best of all, because slight errors in technique are compensated for by the excellent material, even inexperienced casters can achieve impressive results. In short, an all-round no-nonsense package which, thanks to its handle section being reinforced with spiral carbon, can overpower any carp.
