Sitarion by Soundiron is a comprehensive virtual electric sitar library for Kontakt, designed to combine traditional sitar characteristics with modern recording and scripting techniques. This library features detailed samples of a custom sitar built by luthier Sanjay Rikhi Ram Sharma, played by Chithrinie Nirupama. It includes a vast array of multi-samples and live performance phrases, making it a versatile tool for composers and sound designers.

• Extensive multi-samples with 6 velocity layers and 12 round-robin variations per note
• Ornamental articulations such as hammer-ons, meends (slides/bends), and krinthans (combination of hammer-on and pull-off)
• Both damped and open variations for all multi-samples
• Over 3,000 live performance phrases across six different BPMs and various keys and scales
• Flexible GUI with real-time articulation selection, key-switching, arpeggiator, phrase sequencer, and full FX rack
• 27 DSP effect modules including convolution reverb with 99 different rooms, halls, chambers, and outdoor environments, plus 40 custom FX impulses
• 21.5 GB installed size with 18,806 stereo samples in unlocked WAV format

The library also includes a customizable arpeggiator and a key/scale lock system for easy melodic composition. It requires the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later and is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player.
