Sturdy feeling, they sure look and feel heavy duty. The air valve is presented as double safe but it is not: the inner rubber "sock" is the only thing keeping the air in and inflating through the valve requires high air volume to compensate for the "outer valve" leaking air around the thread. By the way the outer valve is no valve at all, just a plastic screw with holes,
