The JCM25/50 Silver Jubilee Series was produced in 1987 to celebrate 25 years of Marshall Amplification and 50 years of Jim Marshall being in the music business. Inspired by this acclaimed series the 20 Watt Mini Jubilee combo and ‘small box’ head combine classic Silver Jubilee preamp tone, features and styling in a lower power, ‘mini’ design. This contemporary ‘mini’ take on the Jubilee Series features: an ECC83 & EL34 valve-set, High/Low output switching, (20 Watt to 5 Watt), FX Loop and independent 4/8/16 Ohm speaker outputs. The 2525C combo is loaded with a single 12´´ Celestion G12M Greenback speaker. In keeping with classic Jubilee tone, Mini Jubilee features preamp circuitry taken from the 2555X which was launched in 2015 and made using the original diagrams. The amp also features classic silver vinyl and chrome plated panelling to complete the Jubilee look. The 2525 Mini Jubilee is expertly crafted and is designed, engineered and constructed to the highest possible standards at the Marshall factory in Bletchley, England.SpecsTechnology ValveChannels 2ElectronicsWattage 20wInputs 1Controls Input Gain (Pull Rhythm Clip), Lead Master, Output Master, Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence, High/low Output SwitchSpeaker Celestion G12m-25ValvesPre Amp Valves 3 X Ecc83Power Amp Valves 2 X El34AccessoriesCables Power/speakerFootswitch Pedl-90003 IncludedDimensionsWeight (Kg) 19Dimensions In mm (W X H X D) 490 X 475 X 280

Zas nerobilo to pri všetkých dvojtónoch, keď som hrubou strunou šiel o pražec vedľa, to už kombo akosi znieslo bez prídavnej rezonancie.
I bought it hoping it would play very nicely in clean mode, no distortion, so RHCP songs like Snow, Scar Tissue and the like would sound nice on it. However, even though it plays quite well with some distortion, I couldn't get a clean sound out of it in any way, even with the gain set to the absolute minimum. Even then, the consonance of two or more thicker strings was always accompanied by a grunt. So, it is absolutely impossible to play a riff on Snow with the sound like on the record, since there is a consonance of thicker strings. I also tried keeping it on longer and nothing improved. What's even worse, at the end of the Scar Tissue riff, the combo somehow didn't like the consonance of the thick and thin string and expressed this by adding a kind of speaker rapping somewhere outside the played harmony, so it completely distorted it, so that the listener would think that the player is a total beginner and deaf and/or slacker when he makes such a false note 10 times in a row. The only solution would be not to play that thick string there, but what kind of combo is that when you have to take such precautions? Again, it didn't do it with all two-tones, when I hit the next fret with a thick string, the combo somehow took it without additional resonance. So all in all unusable misery for me and it doesn't matter that it was hand built - unusable for gaming. Maybe I had a defective piece, but I'd rather not try my luck again.
