Symphony music stand that is extremely robust and built to a high quality. The main feature is that it is ‘knob-free’ – instead it features a ‘magic finger’ shaft clutch and a ‘friction tilt’ neck joint which allow the stand to be pushed or pulled into any position and will remain secure without turning a single screw. Not only does the lack of adjusters make it simpler to use, but the overall design also looks much more sleek and classy. The stand can hold 4 kg of music and has a desk depth of 2.25'' (5.7 cm), making it capable of holding heavy choir books and large music anthologies. The desk is made from solid aluminium for optimum rigidity and the all-steel welded bases allow for extra stability. While this stand is designed to live in one space and is therefore not entirely foldable, it is surprisingly lightweight (3.63 kg) and easy to carry around if necessary. The desk can fold all of the way back reducing the total stand height to 90 cm – easily small enough to pop into a car boot.
