This is my first PA column. I use it for karaoke sessions at events with friends. With it I replace JBL PartyBox Encore + PartyBox 110. Extremely light and compact system. Placed on a tripod, it sounds great. I'm used to stronger bass from my JBL experience, but in this case the different sound turned out to be an advantage for me, because I'm less likely to disturb the neighbors and at the same time I can hear the vocals better. The mobile phone app is very simple and cannot be compared in terms of functionality to that of the JBL PartyBox, but the Mackie Thump GO is a different class of system, it has XLR inputs and outputs and is supposed to be used with a mixer. In the role of a mixer, for now I successfully use the bluetooth receiver M9Pro, which again has a battery, has a microphone input and a built-in adjustable echo effect. For a compact battery-powered PA column, I think the Mackie Thump GO is the best value for money. The bag set is even more affordable. I am considering the purchase of a second column of the same model to have a stereo set.
