I got what I expected. And I had high expectations :) It has enough volume to play with acoustic instruments. Its shape makes it a bit difficult to take it with me on the road, but at least it's small in size, which somewhat compensates for it. I really like the fact that the number of hits can be set by turning - that's why I bought it, because I often change the value during my exercises. I can connect it to an amplifier with the headphone output, so I can practice at high volume, and I plan to use it with headphones when recording as well. It requires four AAA batteries, which supposedly last a very long time - this was also an important aspect for me, because I read that rival products work with button batteries and run out quickly - but I use them a lot. The sound character can be adjusted - I especially like that you can choose a drumming sound. The display is sharp and has a strong tone - I used it outdoors over the weekend, and it is also perfectly readable in natural light, which is not typical for many digital displays (although I have not yet tested it in bright sunlight). The stroke number dial adjuster clicks with definite steps while rolling, seems stable and long-lasting. I also chose this type because it is stationary. This is what I needed. Other metronomes can be propped up temporarily, some not even (for example, the clamp ones) - this one, however, can be set up stably and used with one hand or even one finger. I usually put it on a table or shelf, and since the front is slightly tilted, it is convenient to use and read from all directions. The designers really thought of everything! I really like it! I would not recommend it to people who want to place a metronome on a music stand or music board - it is too large and heavy for that, and this product is not practical for such use. This is good for those who are going to place it on a table, amplifier, or, for example, a piano - it is the best choice for them.
