Paper self-hardening clay. It hardens naturally in air in about 24-48 hours depending on the thickness and size of the work. No need to bake in the oven. The product can be further modified - dyed, sanded, glued, cut, varnished. After drying, the material becomes waterproof.
Working with this clay can serve as a stepping stone to sculpture. It is shaped by hand, but you can use various modelling tools. You can also use it to create more voluminous works, to cover different surfaces and objects and to create masks.
To prevent the clay from drying out, it should be stored in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic.
Usage:
A lightweight substance that floats when dry. You need to let it dry and apply a coat of varnish if you want to put it in water.
It is easy to knead and model and can be used to create various elongated or thin shapes. Shapes can be created by covering a mould such as a jar, balloon or wire with clay.
It dries slowly, allowing the work to be modified if necessary. If you dip your finger in water and brush it over a piece of Patmaché artwork, it will polish the surface and help the pieces stick together. Once dry, the items are very durable and can easily be painted with a variety of colors. It can be dried in the tumble dryer.
It can be painted with tempera paints, acrylic paints and even markers as it is a paper material. In addition, you can paint, sand, laminate, roll and cut products from this mass.
You can return the unused mass back to its own packaging, vacuum seal it, preventing the clay from drying out.
