I decided to upgrade the pickups on an old Squire Jazz bass - these were an attractive option, I only had to make a small alteration for the bridge pick-up to fit the original hole. These pickups are essential for any bass player wishing to expand their tone and achieve that vintage fender sound. The neck pick-up offers a meaty low end and sounds sweet with a fair amount of tone rolled off. The bridge gives the classic Jaco sound and everything in between. They really offer a wide scope of sound for all styles - a great product.
