ESP KH-3 Spider Kirk Hammett Black Spider Graphic Electric guitar

After spending a number of years on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the original KH-3 was returned to ESP so we could reference it for this 30th Anniversary edition. Handcrafted at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the ESP Kirk Hammett Signature Series 30th Anniversary KH-3 Spider is a reissue of the original KH-3 model with a few upgrades. In addition to neck-thru-body construction, a Floyd Rose Original bridge, and a fast extra-thin U-shaped neck with a rosewood fingerboard which is scalloped from #17-24. Also new for the anniversary model are Kirk’s signature EMG Bonebreaker pickups.

Body: Alder

Alder is a medium-weight wood that produces a well-balanced tone with a strong mid-range, bright highs and moderate bass. It is known for its warm and full sound, making it a versatile material for a variety of musical styles.

Fretboard: Ebony

Ebony is a very hard and dense wood with a smooth surface and a rich, dark color. It offers a clear, articulate tone with excellent response. The ebony fingerboard is popular for its durability, speed and luxurious appearance, while offering excellent playability and precise tone.

Pickups Configuration: HH

The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
