there are a lot of reviews already on YouTube and similar mista. everyone tries to compare it with "origos", but then I didn't notice that anyone would see how it is with this microphone. so I'll share the "secret". Here you have a switch with three positions. The middle faces look like they are "even/unedited", but that's not the case. In fact, the microphone is in the flat position when the switch shows hi-boost. The middle position of the switches is in reality a hi-mid cut, and the left position is a hi-cut as well. now that you know this, try to compare it first and you will find out that there is an identical Sennheiser classic, and literally identical. it's a great buy, both for e.guitar and tomy, Even if the "form factor" here is not quite ideal, I don't know how well it would survive a blow from a stick, but from the sound side it would be number one. This mic has a "secret". The three position switch shows the central position as being "flat" but in reality the flat response from the capsule is when the switch is set to high boost. The middle position introduces a hi mid cut and the left hand position adds a hi cut as well. So to compare this mic to the classic sennheiser you need to set it to "hi-boost". When set like that it's identical to one classic sennheiser, and I really mean identical. This is an outstanding mic for the price and is great for e.guitar or toms - just the same as the original. Totally recommended! (though for Tom use the form factor isn't so ideal - not sure how well it would survive a drumstick impact!)
